Construction report for March-April 2018
Despite the unpredictable weather this spring, construction remains on schedule.
Rooftop heating and cooling units were recently installed, interior wood stud partition work is complete, and the exterior walls were being insulated in April. Exterior and interior brick restoration is on-going, and the new exterior brick veneer at the new construction is nearly complete. With the installation of the lobby staircase, this dynamic and open common space at the heart of the building, where old meets new, has really come alive.
During May and June, considerable progress will take place as the windows are installed, exterior finishes are completed and landscaping improvements will be underway. Activity will appear to be settling down on the exterior, but inside walls will be painted; and tile, flooring and fixtures installed.
It won’t be long until doors to Brassworks will be open to the public and the Center will be ready to welcome you.
